Short grain rice, which remains soft after cooking, ideal for Sushi, poke bowls, onigiri and more!

You'll use an even 1:1 ratio of rice to water (i.e. one cup of water per one cup of sushi rice)


How to cook Sushi Rice:


1.On a kitchen stove

Ingredients:

500 gr. rice

500ml of water


Instructions:

1. Rinse the rice with cold water 2 to 3 times.

2. Put the ratio of water and rice in the pot until the water boils and then reduce the temperature to half.

3. Simmer for 15 minutes. (Don't open the lid)

4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the rice stand and steam for another 15 minutes, without opening the lid.



2.In an electric rice cooker

Ingredients

1 cup rice, washed

1 cup Water


Instructions:

1. Put the rice in a bowl and rinse with cold water 2 to 3 times.

2. Place 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of water in the electric rice cooker and press the "cook" button.

3. Once the cooking process is done, leave it closed for 10 minutes. Then open, mix carefully and it's ready to serve!



Tip: You can add your favorite rice mix, furikake, after cooking for extra flavor.
