A truly luxurious seasoning from Japan. Shichimi is a blend of high-quality spices and this particular variant, which is made in the Wakayama region, uses two ingredients that are the pride of the region: arita mikan peel (Japanese satsuma) and sansho peppers (a Japanese variant of Sichuan pepper). Together with ginger, black sesame, poppy seeds and aonori seaweed, this shichimi is a truly fine variant of the seasoning where the unique citrus flavor from Mikan is very prominent. Perfect for sushi, ramen and fish dishes. Also works well in a salad or to make dressing with.
